Meet Ashley Blumenshine. She went to two different colleges after High School and probably still owes 10 grand in student loans. But she must have done poorly in school because she graduated and became a physical education teacher, which is the teaching profession typically chosen by neanderthals. She’s 27 now and was arrested by a cop for banging a sixteen year old student in her car behind a Kohl’s. And she plans to plead guilty.

From Triblocal here:

A Plainfield North High School teacher has been ordered not to have unsupervised contact with anyone under age 18 after a judge set her bond this afternoon at $75,000, because she had sex with a 16-year-old boy.

Ashley M. Blumenshine, 27, of the 4000 block Nutmeg Lane in Lisle was charged with criminal sexual abuse after police say she allegedly had sex with the 16-year-old, who is a junior at Plainfield North, in a vehicle behind Kohl’s, 11860 S. Route 59.

Police approached the scene behind Kohl’s when they noticed two suspicious vehicles “at the end of the lot away from anything else.”

Both Blumenshine and the 16-year-old boy, identified as E.L. in court documents, admitted to having sex. Filipitch said a condom was found at the scene.

The aggravated criminal sexual abuse charge is a felony punishable by three to seven years in prison.

Blumenshine plans to plead guilty but declined further comment about the nature of her relationship with the boy.

Blumenshine is not married and is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.

Plainfield District 202 released a statement this morning saying the district would take “appropriate action” after Blumenshine is released from custody.

Appropriate Action? I guess that means Blumenshine gets a paid vacation until she gets locked behind bars.
