McMurdo Station is the gateway to the end of the world. It is the last piece of semi-civilization on the continent of Antarctica. Any scientific equipment or personnel enter or depart the frozen continent via McMurdo. And they have a Golden Tee Golf game there. And it was broken and probably not going to be fixed for over six months.
