Rita Wilson gets a raise every year and gets summers off and will get almost a million dollars in pension benefits when she retires. She makes 86,000 dollars per year. She was asked to go one year without a raise and to actually contribute a tiny portion of her salary to buy her medical and retirement benefits. Watch this bitch wag her finger at her own Governor.
Notice how she is pissed about a pay freeze with one breath and then shakes her finger in the next saying she only teaches because she “loves the children.” Hey Rita, go ahead and quit. I don’t think you will find a job with your salary and your non-existent skillset in the private sector.

The thing that irks me is why do teachers think they are the only ones who do their jobs because they love them?
Ummm whens the last time you taught 30 kids at once? I don’t always like teachers or teachers unions, but I doubt you could do their job, so, maybe lay off a bit?
anyone can do this job with minimal training. Its a structured environment and not at all so difficult, and certainly teachers aren’t the heroes they imagine themselves to be.
LOL one week. I dare you. And they actually have to learn something, so there will be standardized tests to make sure they did. How about we make it a special education environment to make things interesting.
Sure … it would be great if everyone got free benefits and everyone made $99,000 a year for 9 months of work ( $99K would be great for one year’s worth of work) … and if everyone got free healthcare.
BUT!!! the rest of us “little people” can’t afford it.
Quit being so selfish! NO ONE is going to feel bad for a teacher who makes that salary and whines! NO ONE!
