I lived for awhile in Durango, Colorado. In the window of a downtown business there was large photo of the city from the 1800's framed with a photo of the city from the late 1990's. In the old black and white photo the mountians surounding the town were barren of trees. In the other, lush pine forest everywhere. Thanks to (evil) coal and oil, the citizens didn't have to strip the hills bare to heat their homes. That and nature did it all by herself. I'm not opposed to recycled TP though, just scratchy TP.
