It only perpetuates the notion that they remain a backwards, third-world country that has no clue how to act in the modern world. That pic of those guys killing dogs in the streets with sticks conjures up intentionally forgotten images of baby-seal clubbing that traumatized me when I was 12. Thanks Pat.
