I wouldn’t have had much of a comment about this one except the coach, Susan Anderson, of Desert Edge High School, targeted her victim and carefully groomed her before seducing the child. And she takes the saddest mugshot too. I used Lolcat builder to beef it up a bit.

A Desert Edge High School girls’ coach has been arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with one of her students over the past year, Goodyear police said Tuesday.
Basketball and volleyball coach Susan Jayne Anderson, 28, was arrested Monday night at her home in Goodyear’s Estrella community, police said. She is accused of carrying on an ongoing sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl she coached.
“We believe that this started when the student was 15,” said John Rowan, a police spokesman.
Anderson told police she “chose and targeted” the victim because of the girl’s low self-esteem.
Phone records showed Anderson and the victim were having daily, hourlong talks and had exchanged “thousands” of text messages since December. They were also communicating via the social networking Web site myspace.com
The victim told police she had sexual contact with the suspect on Jan. 20 at the coach’s home.
I couldn’t find Anderson’s Myspace page. When you have a very common name like “Susan Anderson” your online anonymity is almost guaranteed. Unless of course, you rape a child.
I’ve noticed that when these freaks are female or homosexual, (in this case…both), the perps are described as “having a sexual relationship” and not “molesting”. Has the media become so politically correct they can’t refer to a pedophile as a child molester?
Gregory, I noticed that too. I was looking for the exact charges, but the article only said “suspicion of having a sexual relationship” and that doesn’t sound ominous at all. Not sure what the laws of Arizona are, either. Maybe legal consent there is different, or no harsh penalties for teachers banging the students.

i knew susan anderson when i was in college. she was an assistant basketball coach for the college team. i had a strong suspicion that she was having a relationship with a player on the team. i only wish i had spoke up about it, maybe this poor girl in arizona wouldn’t be going thru what she is had i or someone else spoke out.

Well, in college both of them were really close to the same age. Dating a player was not illegal- unethical perhaps. But all teachers know they are not supposed to have sex with their underage students.

I also went to college with Susan and was quite close with her roommates for a time. She was crazy back then and I can only imagine how crazy she is now. I believe she had at least 3 relationships while playing college ball and also while coaching. I feel for the young girl she had the relationship with.
Susan was my basketball coach when I was in high school. I never had a thought about her “molesting” us or having a relationship with any of us. She was “cool” and someone to look up to. She almost seemed more of a friend to us at times, which I don’t think was a bad thing. I was very shocked when I heard about this.
ok. first off, even though the girl may have been young, she knew what she was doing and no the teacher didnt persuade her into becoming gay and having sexual relations with her. i went to school at desert edge during that time. i know the young girl and the couch. i am in no way saying what they did was right but also you need to open your eyes just a bit wider. the girl had always been gay, since she was younger. records have shown for years that to be gay may be a choice but to others its a chemical enbalance in humans. that is the reason they go for the same sex instead of the opposite. sorry to break it to all you religon freaks but i believe in science. the story was blown way out of perportion because the student never said no. and the student continued to see the teacher even after she had the chance to get away. she chose, to put herself, in that situation. the end. wow yall are stupid

You are an idiot. One person was a highly educated and accredited TEACHER. The other was a child. One is capable of entering into a legal contract and knows what she is doing and the other is a CHILD.
This isn’t about sexual orientation stupid. This is about an adult targeting a child for sexual exploitation, and more specifically, a teacher, who is trusted by the city and the parents to teach a child, violating that trust to lick the vagina of a minor.

Being a player on the team, I know that she lacked in the “coach” catagory. The victim, who was at the hardest point in her life, got FU**ed over. THE END! If you went to desert edge at the time, then your pretty young yourself. don’t judge others when you dont know the whole situation, and DEFINATLY, dont start changing the story to make it juicier.
