“Abdullah’s behavior since I’ve been home has been possessive, verbally agrressive,” Katherine says. “I consider Abdullah a stalker. Abdullah has left me 34 voicemails within an hour. I have not called him once. He was swearing at me so loud on the phone, calling me a slut, a bitch, a whore. I realized that my relationship with Abdullah was over that night. I always knew it wasn’t going to work, but I tried.
“When I break up with him, he threatens me, and that’s why I have to talk to him, threatening me, like, ‘If you don’t talk to me, I’m going to torture your family. I’m going to call your dad and tell him that you’re having sex.’ I was like, ‘I need a break from you,’ and he told me to take my break and shove it up my ***. I don’t have any intention of seeing him. I’ve already told Abdullah that we’re not getting married 100 billion times, but he will not take no for an answer,” Katherine says.
You know, Muslims have to treat their women this way. Its in the Koran.
When it came time for the big kiss-off, the conversation went like this:
“I just, I can’t be with you anymore,” Katherine said.
“What about the promises? What about everything we had together? Is it because of this stupid show?” he asks. “Just tell me.”
“No, it’s not because of the show,” she says.
“Is it because of me? Is it because of me?”
“Yeah. It’s your attitude,” Katherine says.
Maybe Katherine Lester has finally milked this insane drama cow dry. Lets hope she stays in the US and stays off the internet.

is this true that katherine has reali broken up with abdullah?? because if so thank gudness..im from australia sydney & today i watched dr phil both episode with katherine & abdullah.. from the time i was watching them on the sattlelite i could just tel with abdullahs additude through his appearance how it showz his temper was rising by granting his jaw when dr phil & katherine relays kept asking him questions .. & how he.. at one stage katherine tried to kissed him & he pulled back.. katherine u r so lucky to have good family to care for u alot & much lucky to have the whole nation to look out for u be thanku that dr phil even brought ure story out in the open to save u.. & now u know girl .. goodness wake up & dont make the same mistake again.. but thanku katherine for going out on live .. hope u can help those who are going through the same phase as u were.. where they think they know what love is.. but realy being young .. naive .. & gallobal.. plz katherine help them .. by telling them your’e experience & help those family who fearz for their love one.. god bless u katherine that u finaly woke up.. just remember noone deserves to be called names dear.. especialy wen he called u a B**** .. thatz a no no girl.. onces a B****** is alwayz a B***** wiv no respect for the ladies are nothing but an animal.. u deserve better.. learn from your mistake & meet people in reality .. dont go searching for love in the internet it is not safe & u NOw know that.. bless u mi girl.. churp churp!! whooop whoop u go girl..;)

Please help find where does it say in Koran for muslim men to treat their women like shit.
Please correct me if I’m wrong. Do you know the statistics about violence against women in the US and Europe and in the Middle East. I am not claiming that it does not happen but surely the rates are much lower.
Do you know that our prophet Mohammed said “the best of you is the best for his wife”. Of course not.

I don’t think that Abdullah was arrogant or rude in anyway. Not anymore than Dr. Phil or Katherine’s mother were. How was he expected to behave when he was being hit from all sides – being called terrorist and accused of wanted a mealticket to the US? And what about Katherine’s utter cruelty when she dumped him on national TV? Why hit out at Abdullah when Dr. Phil was terribly arrogant himself, actually potraying himself as Mr. BigShot himself. He actually went as far as promise Abdullah that he could have his people work with the American Embassy to obtain a visa for Abdullah to travel to the US. If that isn’t arrogance, what is?
This has suddenly become a religious/race issue when it is not. It is a sad story of two young immature people from two different cultures. And what’s this crap about Muslims disrespecting their women? What about the countless stories of abuse in American families?

Katherine was treated well by Abdullah and his family while she lived under their roof, in their care. They way she repaid them was awful. its a really though effort to make american public understand about islam. not by just judging one moslem. islam not only in Arab. there are islam in other part of the globe such as in Indonesia..where i live.. i am treated well by my moslem husband and we get along well here with other religions (christian,budhist,hindus).
what pat should do instead of only blogging is browse more about islam. and hang out more with people from various background. you should talk or chat with them.

Pat, you have just shown how truly ignorant you really are. I am not Muslim, but I was taught to respect all people and religions. You claim that you worship a God that really works. Please don’t insult God by saying you are one of His people. God’s people do not make utterances such as the ones you’ve made. Katherine’s and Abdullah’s situation had nothing to do with religion, but just two people from different cultures who fell in love. It is the prejudice of people like you that changed it into a religious issue.
For your information genital mutilation, beheading of people, eating pork and murdering of homosexuals as you put it, is not what the Islam faith is about. These are practises that have been carried out by many cultures and religions all over the world. We cannot condemn the practises of different cultures or religions as these are deeply rooted in tradition. The world is changing and such practises are changing with it. It is people like you with your prejudices that are holding the world back. As for condemning people for not eating pork – Shame on you!!! Islam is not the only religion that condemns eating of pork. And even if it was – what business is it of yours? Does it harm you in anyway if another person eats pork or not? You can eat all the ham sandwiches you want…

I did not say that old traditions are necessarily good traditions. What I said is that they exist, because of the way life used to be, but as life and the world changes, thankfully those traditions are also changing. Hi Pat . . . I’m just randomly passing by b/c I was looking for an update on this story. I just thought I’d let you know I agree with you on your opinion of islam. I actually HAVE read parts of the koran, and find them violent and disturbing. The fact that people still get stoned in many muslims cultures as well as other atrocities that still get performed is enough in my book to say that this religion is questionable at best. Some say that the religion is about peace, but I fail to see the connection.
HOWEVER, many religions throughout time have been just as disturbing. Have you looked into the history of the Catholic Church *shudder*? The old testament has stoning advice as well.
Why can’t we ALL as a people move past radical religious beleifs?
It never ceases to amaze me how many people defend the islamic religion.
