Loading ...The whiny, undermedicated goth kid from the broken home won’t bring guns to class and try to kill you or your kid.
That’s what Asa Coon tried to do, but he had reached such depths while swimming in Lake Fail, he couldn’t score a critical shot on any of his victims. He finally realized what a miserable cretin he was and ate a bullet, which was probably the best meal of his life.
This group of stupid goth failures are way cooler than Asa Coon ever was.

Asa Coon was a failure at school.
They called him Jack Black because he was fat and stupid. He dressed the part: his fingernails painted black, the dog collar around his neck, his faded rock concert T-shirts under a trench coat.He slapped his Mom and threatened to commit suicide.
Asa walked into SuccessTech Academy Wednesday with a satchel full of guns and ammunition and opened fire on teachers and students.
He had been in an argument about God. Asa said he worshiped rock star Marilyn Manson. He flashed the other kid an obscene gesture. Ater school, the two kids fought. Asa took a beating (because he failed at everything, even fighting). Both were suspended.
Asa Coon was a Failure at Home.
Asa’s big brother Stephen was jailed for being violent in the home too. Court records show that his father’s whereabouts are largely unknown. He probably couldn’t stand having such a failure for a child.He was in and out of court hearings and refused to take his meds. He lived in a squalid ghetto because his Mom was white trash.
And another thing about SuccessTech- The press is making this school out to be some sort of magnate exclusive club for geniuses. Its not. Its a vocational preparatory school. They teach the school district’s losers how to paint walls, pour concrete, weld, and dig ditches because that is likely the career paths they will go down.
It has been reported that people kept trying to tell the principal that Asa Coon was a loser that wanted to shoot up the school. The principal probably got that type of report everyday from the future criminals she was guarding. SuccessTech was not a school for Cleveland’s best of the best. It was for Cleveland’s worst of the worst and was likely the last hope for an education those students would get.

I have read quite a few quotes from the semi-literate students who neglected to report that a fellow student was determined to shoot up the school. If these are Cleveland’s best, whoo-boy, I would hate to see the worst.
So all of their graduates are college-bound? That’s also a dubious claim. They may have graduated and have grades and scores that make them eligible, but to claim that all of them are going to college? I don’t believe that is accurate, either.
The school is financed by the Gates Foundation, which works to create learning atmospheres that emphasize technology. But its still a Vo-Tech school.
I think my statement about the commonality of the threats in the school may be accurate. Either that, or the principal, Johnnie Durant, is a negligent bitch. You can decide.

You twisted a little quote in reponse to a comment by taking out one little word you put “We talked to the principal. She would try to get us all in the office, but it would always be too busy for it to happen.”
The real quote is that “WE” meaning “THEY” (the students) were always to busy for it to happen. If you want to have a solid opinion, don’t take out words to try and suit your point of view- when you’re just trying to imply that the school system was always too busy when it refers to the students.
I agree completely with the comment above me: Asa Coon stood alone. He wasn’t like the columbine shooters that had each other’s sick thoughts to feed off of. Those kids were not as popular story goes “outcasts”, those kids had a group of people much like themselves to hang out with. Those kids were megalo-maniacs without a reason. Of all the articles I read about this kid, Asa, he was smart and had rational hopes.
Asa Coon was put in a mental hospital after he tried to commit suicide when he was 13- where doctors concluded he might be bipolar, but agreed he needed futher evaluation. On top of that he gets his butt whooped regularly, you can’t say that that child- as he was- is normal and stable. Asa Coon was a true outcast, and people failed him. I’m not saying this excusing him in regards to what he did, but towards the principal and that it wasn’t prevented. I agree that officials should’ve took action when they heard the threat.
You have your opinions on this, though harsh, I at least respect that you didn’t throw his picture up here.
I didn’t twist anything. I copied and pasted the quote directly from the article. And guess what? It’s not the students’ responsibility to gather everyone to investigate rumors that someone may be intending the shoot up the school. That role belongs to the adults, and specifically, in this case, Principal Durant.
You are one of those people that want to blame everyone except for the defective dickwad that murdered people. Asa Coon was a nihilist and an atheist. As such, he must have believed in Darwin, which subscribes to the theory that only the strong survive. This weak minded twat was thinned from the herd because he was inferior to the rest of mankind.
