MySpace Gang Sword Attack
Wanna-be Thugs in a Wanna-be City use a Wanna-be Weapon to almost sever the arm off of a teenager.
These idiots are losers on the fast-track to life in prison. William Taylor and Jason Rodriguez of Virginia Beach want to be gangsters so bad, although neither is black nor italian, they listen to stupid hip-hop and want to maim someone just so they can be in a Myspace group. They remind me more of hobbits with swords.

A teenager’s arm was nearly severed in a sword attack by three men affiliated with an Filipino gang, police said.
The attack occurred last month and is believed to have been part of an initiation into another gang as well as revenge for an insult. According to police, this initiation required the severing of a limb from another person.
Police said Tuesday that two men believed to be affiliated with the Bahala Na Gang were arrested on a felony charge of malicious wounding. They were identified as William K. Taylor Jr., 21, and Jason R. Rodriguez, 20, both of Virginia Beach.
A third suspect is expected to surrender, police said.
An acquaintance of the 15-year-old victim made disparaging statements about Bahala Na Gang on Myspace.com, the online community. Several users claim affiliation with the gang in profiles and messages at the popular Web site.
Rodriguez learned that the teenager was visiting at the friend’s house, and he, Taylor and the third suspect confronted him there, Ball said. She said the trio attacked the teen, and Taylor used a sword to slice the teenager’s arm and shoulder. He was cut all the way to the bone, and the bone was almost severed.
Willie Taylor- good luck being the white Korean kid in prison who wanted to be black. I don’t think any of the real gangs that are in prison will tolerate your stupid ghetto attitude. And Jason Rodriguez, I don’t think real Latino gang members in prison will think you are cool for wanting to be in a Filipino gang either.

i will be happy to embrace you with facts. about the myspace thing. the victim and his friend claimed that they were bloods and tagged the fence of rodriguezs grandmother with some gang stuff. rodriguez bought paint and made the victim clean the fence. the victim then went on myspace and him and his friends started saying shit around myspace about quote-unquote squeezing a gun on rodriguez and his friends… rodriguez told him to quit being a myspace gangster and do something. that night rodriguez and his friends were at rodriguezs grandmas house and the victim came by and started talking shit so anderson who wasnt mentioned in your article tackled the victim and started punching him… then some guy whose name was not mentioned joined anderson and then when they walked away… taylor came out of no where with a sword and cut the kid. no one knew where taylor came from… he is crazy in the head and just carries a sword. rodriguez was the only name the victim knew and so rodriguez turned himself in and was released once they got the names of the other guys. i dont know how the police tied it to a gang… i think that it was because it was 3 or more people hanging out.

Tiffany, you are awesome. Thanks for the details. Do you have any updates on the sentencing of Taylor? And is Rodriguez still facing any criminal charges? I did read about Anderson in another article.
Regarding the gang thing, there was a Myspace group for the Bahala Na gang, and I am pretty sure both Rodriguez and Taylor were members of the online group. Whether or not they were members of the gang in real life I have no idea.

After the trial, Will keep you updated. I know Rodriguez and Anderson were not in a myspace group, I think some people on their friends lists were in that “group” but those people live in Cali, and they got tied in by “association”. Not sure if Taylor even had a myspace. But I have heard that Bahala Na is not even here in Virginia, it is usually made of older filipino guys. … Anderson and Taylor are korean/white. Rodriguez is Filipino and White. i do not know if it makes a difference to you, but the victim was full filipino, so race had nothing to do with the attack.

I never wanted to look at this incident from a racial perspective- only from the perspective that stupid kids run their mouths on MySpace and pretend to be “gangstas” and that it is really stupid to go to jail for attacking someone with a freakin’ sword.
But I guess when you pretend to be in the “thug life” its what happens.

here are the facts…..
bahal ah na gang is originally from the P.I and C.A.. virginia beach bng is ah bunch of wanna bees. there not thugs. jason r drives a nice mustang that his mom bought him, matt bangs to be filipino but hes korean. and the other one is just plain stupid. who the hell would you believe there the real thing when its suppose to be strictly FILIPINO not black and white. how would i know this?

Yea they saved my arm. Nope. jason only did weekends in jail, and of today hes braggin about going to jail. Matt did 1year and BJ taylor is gone i guess lol.
