Lorelei Corpuz- Ugly Child Predator
Meet Lorelei Corpuz- a lesbian child predator who poses as a man to assault young girls.
Lorelei met a twelve year old girl in a mall two years ago and convinced her that she was a 15 year old orphan boy, when in fact, she was a 28 year old woman with a long criminal history.
She convinced the twelve year old that her parents were dead and she wanted to be her boyfriend. For some stupid reason the victim’s parents (lets call them enablers) allowed the supposed child to move in with them as a live in boyfriend for their very underaged daughter.
Lots of rape ensues and finally Lorelei is behind bars. From KOMOtv here:
Everett police have accused a 30-year-old woman of posing as a boy and assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
Papers filed in Everett District Court say Lorelei Josephine Corpuz presented herself as a 17-year-old boy named Mark Villanueva.
According to a police report, Corpuz befriended the teen-age girl in 2005 at a shopping mall and the family allowed “Mark” to live with the family as the young girl’s boyfriend.
Corpuz told the girl’s family that her mother died of cancer and that her father had committed suicide.
The true story came to light after “Mark” was pulled over for a traffic stop on Sunday with the girl in the car. Officers were told that Corpuz allegedly had beaten and sexually assaulted the girl.
Sergeant Robert Goetz says the family was surprised to learn that Mark was a 30-year-old woman. Corpuz was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of child rape and is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
I think the children of this family need to be taken away from such irresponsible parents. No one should ever let a boyfriend move into the home of a 12 year old. How stupid and negligent are they?

I can’t believe that any parent would ever let a 12, or even 15 year old child have their boyfriend move in. I agree, those children should be removed from that home. And the parents charged.

While what you all say is fair i dont completely agree with the child being taken away. Who knows what the circumstances were. It was a mistake, parents make mistakes all the time. They were completely fooled. They thought they were helping a 17 yr old orphan boy. There is so much more to this story… i know. Hopefully everyone has learned from this horrible experience.

Welcome to the blog and thanks for the comment. But before you give this family a pass, first you must recognize that not all parents make a mistake of allowing a total stranger to move into their home with the intent of molesting their daughter.
If parents make a mistake like that “all the time” then I’m sure I would have heard about it before now.
Second, you use the plural form of “parent.” This story does not imply that there is a father present in the home. And as such, this story becomes just a little LESS surprising that this would happen.

there is so much to this story people dont know. the NEWS is only a small portion of what the public knows. there are parentS involved maybe, not present 365 days of the year because their job takes them away for a few months, but there is a father. i knew him too for a long time and i do remember people using him for money. luckly our family wasn’t scarred by “Mark”. He was a liar and again everyone thought they were helping a teenage boy who had no parents and no where else to go. Trust, she will go to jail for a long time.

it’s pretty funny haha. they finally caught HER. it’s still funny to me how SHE used to live in my home for about a year. it’s amazing what she has done to so many families and even led us to believe she was a DUDE. it’s impressing how many lies she has told and how low her profile was kept and how she was able to pull it off.
what i hope for is that she NEVER gets out of jail, because she destroyed our families relationships, ruined our credit, and left us without a trace, only to move on to the family she was finally caught with.

Jake… i hope your family is doing better now! mark lived with us for about a yr and destroyed our family too. but we found out about “Mark’s” lies and now we are ALL closer than ever. your relationships can be fixed…. mine is! and as far as i know now “Mark” has done this to at LEAST 3 families, yours, mine, and the family heshe got caught with! HeShe is getting hit with more than just one girl.

Would you care to share how you guys fell for this hoax by this woman? How was a woman able to convince you to allow her to get this close to your family? Why did you think it would be okay for a stranger to live under your roof? If you had advice to give to others on how to avoid such situations, what would it be?

haha its weird since i usually dont do this. but this seemed to pique my curiosity too at first. but as you should know by now, “mark” was very manipulative. she had sob stories to tell, and our family accepted anyone who lived a bad life. we care for others ALOT. we didn’t IMMEDIATELY let her move in. we just talked to her and when she told us she was being “chased”, we let her stay with us for a bit. thing was, her stay was longer than expected. just like she used us we used her. while we didnt know she was, we used her car to go places late night. you know, the regular teen places. Alki, Southcenter Mall, hangout spots, etc. All that.
Although we still had problems with her. she would pawn our things without asking, or ask us and say it was an emergency or whatnot. then we wonder how she even gets her money. at times she would blame some of our family members, mentally forcing us to pick sides.
we were a big family. 10-13 people living under one roof, so it was easy to divide us into groups. my bro was blamed for his past, theivery and all that. so we all went against him whenever something like money went missing. she was THAT good at her craft.
the only advice im giving is this. get a background check before letting someone into your house and live there.

Like i said before we all thought we were helping a teenage orphan boy. No one said we were letting a stranger move in. He wasnt a stranger when he moved in. It was never like “oh dude right off the street here’s a bed in our home you can sleep in”. He used the same strategies on jake like he used on us. my mom would use him for his car cuz he would do everything for her…. run her errands buy her little things she needs every now and then. What worked for Mark even more was that my mom didnt drive. He would use my little brothers who were like 7 and 10 to lie for him too… so my little brothers always told the story he wanted them to tell. Mark would take my brothers places and buy them things! My other brother and i were already old enough to think for ourselves and had started to try and kick him out but our mom had final say. So we moved out and thats when it got worse! Finally we drove him out, my mom came around and even though my brother and i never moved back home we are always itching to go back!
Its funny how Mark said he was being chased cuz i wonder if he meant my family. Cuz after he moved out and my sister told us what he did to her, we let it be known that my brother and i were looking for him. We went everywhere tring to find him… his hangouts, friends, his townhouse…. everywhere!
You just always should remember FAMILY is always first!!!

i googled “marks” name and found this , i just wanted to say.. from also stayin with the Marcelo family for awhile (the family that “mark” use to stay with) he is very convincing, or should i say “she” , right off the bat she was nice, honest, and always kind to me and the rest of the family. Since she was filipino too, mistaking for a boy i would always call her “kuya” as a sign of respect. Because every time i would see her, she would always ask me if i wanted to go eat, or if i needed anything. this whole thing is crazy and when i heard about this from Shila (who was on the news) i was totally shocked. my jaw dropped, i couldn’t believe that my “kuya” was really a SHE!. and finding out what she did to that young girl is crazy, mind blowing ; first of all that young girl is so closed minded, how could she now know that was a girl that WHOLE time they were dating? .. it seems just weird to me. well , i don’t want to say to much but yea, thanks for listening…

Thanks for the contribution. You say you stayed with the family for a while too? This family seems to have been extremely trusting to just let teenagers come to stay with them. Was it a group home? Im just trying to understand how the parents could allow this type of access to their home.

unfortunately, i know lorelei personally, I visited seattle a couple years ago and was forced to visit her. when i saw her, i immediately knew she was a lesbian. i mean seriously, a boyish hair cut, baggy clothes and tattoos all over? i know she got mixed up with drugs and some illegal things but i never would have imagined lying to the extreme. she is utterly and truly fucked.

i was reading over what i typed out before, and it seems I’ve forgotten one thing. “mark” lived with the marcelo family once for a year. I was part of THAT family that she moved in with. our home was a group home, full of hangouts and joy and drama and everything you would find in the typical filipino home. our family was the nice family that enjoyed company whenever we had some. “mark” was no stranger when she moved in, like emma said.
the one thing about the group home was that it was with marcelo’s and nuguid’s living under one room. that was why our family was so big. a whole lot of drama went on the house because of her, and now it’s because of our lost money we couldn’t pay enough to stay in the house. the family split apart after doing so well. although their mom and my dad are still dating, it’s sad how i miss just living under the same roof with a bunch of great people. this family went through so much in life.
this family deals with things that the usual family doesn’t do. this family has a completely different personality in each person. like me, i was the QUIET one. my bro was the rebellious cool guy, and my blood-sis was the overall looker for love. NO one of the thirteen people in the house was the same. because we were all different it was easy for us to split, but it was very entertaining to think of what kind of things our random family would do next.
sorry kinda got carried off there ahha. i just really missed how our family used to be, but hey life moves on. sometimes i just wonder how life would be like if “mark” never came by…

OK soooooo enuff of the mushy luv luv thang but! we are (including jake) are the family that “mark”: used to live with. and as jake stated above. we knew mark for some time before he moved in with us. We trusted him with a lot because of all that “she” did for our family. besides all the drama she also had good points to her. She used to give us rides to school and to work when needed. When “we” needed food in the house “she” would go get it for us with no hesitation. She would go out of her way to make us happy (at times) the other times, the lies are what caught up with her.
Mark did steal from us, and do certain things (hard to explain what) like it was a secret.by that i mean talking on his cell phone else where when he usually gets on his phone around us anyway. and because our family was so big we never really paid that much attention to him until it involved us. such as our friends (gossip starting from him/her) , money, or just one of us directly.
Because of “mark” our family who was so close became so distant because of lies she would use to tell us. She had us turn on each other by doing the whole “he said she said” type of stuff. even though we knew (“we” as in the family) each other just that well, the comments mark would make would be so believable all cus he just knew us like that. He knew what to say and how to say things to make us turn on each other. I want to say within a month or so the tension in the house just grew because of him. everyone started getting on everyone’s nerves because of what “he” put in our heads.
Mark was really good at what he does. He’s very pursuasive in so many different aspects there really aren’t any words that could ever describe. All we knew is that we were messing with the wrong person cus it was drawing all of us apart. We as a family are all very close. We share things, hang out ALL THE TIME, talk, laugh, cry, and just had that understanding about each other. Our family would always try to make things work even if it was impossible. WE GIVE PEOPLE 2, 3, 4

Our aspects now about friends are totally different. We’ve made our mistakes and learned. and can only grow from here on.
A lot of people are asking “us” how could you not of guessed he was a she. If someone came to you looking like a “boy” first instinct is to believe that right? why would you question someone elses sex?! You just off the bat believe that unless proven otherwise. and yes we were proven otherwise but who were we to ask?! I would find it disrepectful.
This has changed my outlook with friends a lot. I really hope our family’s story opens eyes and minds. You dont have to hide who you really are.

OMG the last thing he got caught up with , uhmm thu . like . he would hack on to her myspace just because , and he changed her password . cause he was a really jealous “boyfriend” and like he told me to say that I changed it , so thu wouldn’t get mad at mark . and like .. idk mark did a lot of things . he told me to lie to thu , saying that he passed out , or fainted and that the ambulance came and he fainted or somthing . just to see what thu would say . so like .. thu wouldn’t leave him . and mark would bribe me with .. shoes & clothes that i bearly got to lie to her . mark even lied about little things , just so people would think that he’s funny . he would steal things and pawn them , so he could buy other things for thu so she wouldn’t leave him . but BLAHHHHHHHHHH ` i’m still a little kid , i wouldn’t want to think about all those bad stuff again (:

..its my fault i brought her into our life…i am truely mad at what mark have done but i dont hate her. im glad she has gotten what she deserves but that is nothing compared to what she had done to me my family and everyone else that fell victim to her scam. if you dont kno who she was, she was one good liar, and very good at stealing MONEY. and she has a very bad temper issues. i hope you pray so then u can pray for god and everyone else to forgive you for what you done
