You know, that is a very interesting topic. Why would PETA not just cut this employee loose and declare that she violated company policy by euthanizing animals on site without permission and disposing of carcasses improperly? That PETA euthanized animals was never the question. But for PETA to throw its weight behind this employee who more than likely acted on her own is certainly curious. Her title and positon was changed. I believe the multiple vets and other workers who say she promised the animals would go to a non-kill shelter. She is more likely to lie then they are. Even if she was a former employee, thats some really good fringe benefits- free legal counsel? I am well paid and even I don't get free legal counsel.
