betterdomore research,

Wow, sounds like you have it all figured out. Yet somehow...
Stockelman is still in jail. I guess Stockelman should try to go "backsies" on his confession, huh?

Sorry loser. You have to come to this blog with better information if you want me to change my opinion that Stockelman was a sicko scumbag that deserved everything he got. I think he should have been executed. but his plea bargain allowed him to live.

Here is the Indiana Supreme Court ruling on the matter, which settles it. So stop your bitchin.

You had better do more research on this one before you go spouting off at the mouth. Stockelman was wrongly imprisoned for this crime. Prosecutors originally charged a man named Chuckie Hickman for this crime. Hickman claimed she saw people making meth and that is why she was abducted. He claimed that he drove her to Cypress Lake in a white ford F150 truck borrowe from his friend Timothy OSullivan. O sullivan was an identical match to the composite sketch given, but that suddenly stopped being shown after Hickman's arrest.
Prosecutor's later dismissed Hickman's statement saying that he had alibis that he was at a party.
But the probable cause affadavit against Hickman stated that an eyewitness placed him at the Dollar Store, where the girl was last seen at about the same time that she was missing.
The eyewitness who saw the girl in the truck was not available to testify in court, nor did she identify Stockelman.
No forensic evidence was found in Stockelman's truck even though police allege that 16 carpet fibers remained on the child's body after being submerged in a lake for 5 days.
And twice prior to Stockelman's arrest, the local prosecutor publicly proclaimed that he could not seek the death penalty against Hickman because there was no evidence of rape.
The so called DNA was never handed over to Stockelman's attorney to be retested, instead they continued to collect DNA samples from other suspects.
Pierson could not explain why he could not hand over the DNA. He stated it was backlogged at the State police crime laboratory. If that were the case, how was it that they had the results and have arrested Mr. Stockelman to begin with based upon this "evidence."
This is not justice, this is sick. Police in Crothersville, Indiana allowed a child's killers to remain free and an innocent man be sentenced and tattooed. Your tax dollars at work, you should be outraged.
