My wife is a huge fan of the Ren Fairs. She pushed and I finally got a costume. After she dragged me there several times I really began to enjoy it quite a bit! Nothing beats a lazy fall afternoon of drinking mead, eating turkey legs and singing pirate songs! Arrr!

And yeah, I've become a big fan of the mead. My first mead kit was picked up at the VA Renfair, and I hacked the recipe to make something of my own from scratch.

You don't hear of too many mead drinkers these days. Does this mean you are also a regular at Renaissance Faires?
