Warning! Drunks Crossing the Street!

A Romanian town has a real problem with drunks getting runned over in the streets while they are staggering home, so they bought some of these signs.
From the Telegraph here:
Street signs warning Romanian drivers to be careful of drunken pedestrians lying on roads were erected by road safety chiefs worried about the “despairing” levels of accidents.
The 10 bright red signs were erected by worried road safety officials in popular areas of the town of Pecica, a village town about 13 miles from the Hungarian border in the country’s west complete with the phrase “Attention – Drunks”.
The 10 road signs, which also show a person crawling on their knees while clutching a glass in one hand, were erected in popular nightspot areas close to the city’s bars and restaurants.

The consumerist featured a new top secret sandwich that can only be obtained by a rushed staff during shift change between breatfast and lunch. Its a combnation of the Mcdouble and the McMuffin. WANT!

I heard about this from a cashier at one of the local McDonald’s. He said it’s getting kind of a cult following in San Francisco.
1. Go to McD’s right when they are transitioning from breakfast to lunch.2. Order one of the remaining Egg McMuffins from the breakfast menu and also order a McDouble since the lunch menu is now open.
3. Take the egg and Canadian bacon from the Egg McMuffin and put it on the McDouble.

My wife found this awesome recipe on British Pasties in FoodNetwork magazine.
The recipe is:

Brown 1/2 pound sausage in a skillet with 1/4 cup chopped onion and 1 each diced celery stalk and carrot. Add 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, and salt and pepper. Roll out a can of refrigerated biscuit dough and cut into twelve 3-inch rounds. Top each with a spoonful of meat filling and fold in half; pinch to seal and brush with a beaten egg. Make slits in the top and bake at 350 degrees F until golden, about 15 minutes.
The pasty was on its way to getting trademarked.

Some guy in Texas is claiming that he found a chunk of a rat’s jaw mixed in with his frozen vegetable medley that he purchased from WalMart. Yum.

An East Texas man claims he found a fragment of a rat’s jawbone in a package of frozen vegetables he bought at Walmart.
Ben Leonard of White Oak, Texas, told KLTV-TV that his wife found the fragment in a package of Walmart’s Great Value brand frozen mixed vegetables. The family ate the vegetables before they figured out the fragment was likely a rat’s jaw.
“She thought it was a big chunk of corn cob or something and the further I got into it the more I thought, ‘Oh no, this is rat’s jaw!’” Leonard told KLTV.
