The Brits make fun of us for calling our small beers served in bars “pints.” A true pint is 16 ounces. Now Michigan is outlawing selling anything called a pint if it is actually smaller than 16 ounces. Nice!

From Breitbart here:

A bill in the Michigan Legislature would stop bars and restaurants from selling pints of beer that are less than 16 ounces. It’s a way of protecting consumers, allowing them to get what they pay for. Whether it means bar owners use bigger glasses, or stop calling the smaller glasses pints, remains to be seen.
