The Holiday Belch Guide
Dec 18th
LardButt published a hilarious Holiday Belch Guide here.
Some excerpts:
- The Careless Whisper: An unintentional belch, this sometimes embarrassing variety occurs unexpectedly during the course of regular conversation. This is a very common, yet unplanned guest at many holiday parties.
- The Sniper: Belching behind someone’s back in a social setting, then assigning blame to that person.
- The Sidewinder: A partially concealed belch that is redirected through either side of the artist’s mouth via a twisting of the lips and face or a turn of the entire head.
- The Sound-Check: A brief, deep and powerful belch sounding remarkably like the first note of an electric bass being tested prior to a concert. ‘Is this thing on??’
- The Haunted House Door: The distinct creaking sound that can accompany an exerted inhale prior to a belch. Scary, too.
- The Jackhammer: A violent staccato, dry belch carrying purpose and a touch of attitude. Usually quite loud and accompanied by shaking walls and/or vehicle interior.
- The Swamp: A moist, gentle murmur of a belch dripping with fluidity and texture. Among the nastiest varieties and common after sipping of carbonated beverage or milkshake.
- The Egg-Nogger: A holiday edition of the Swamp, the Egg-Nogger is accompanied by the aroma of nutmeg and mistletoe and frequently follows the too-rapid consumption of Egg-Nog.

Imperial Stout

The beer sounds like Royalty with a hardon and it tastes a bit fruity. Must be named after Prince Charles.
I was in Switzerland when I walked into a steakhouse and ordered a “draught” beer and this is what I got. I never turn down a chance at tasting new beers, but after this one, I may reconsider.
